Chef Columbus B. Hill (1851-1923), was known as one of the best BBQ Pitmasters in the United States. July 4th, 1890 he catered an event for an estimated 30,000 in Denver, CO celebrating the laying of the cornerstone for the Colorado State Capitol Building.
