The history of tea starts in East and South Asia and is rich in tradition. Tea has been introduced all over the world, with each culture making their own variations on this wonderful beverage.
It is hard to believe that one plant, Camellia sinensis, can yield such a variety of brews. Each type of tea, though grown on the same species of plant, varies greatly based on time of harvest and processing after picking. Here at Old Town Spice Shop we are proud to offer a variety of black, green, oolong, and white teas. In addition we have several herbal teas, also known as tisanes. These include several rooibos blends, herbal chais, fruit infusions, and calming herbal concoctions. Many of our teas can be served hot or iced, making them ideal for any season.
*We only offer loose leaf tea to ensure that you get the best tasting tea possible.
