      DESCRIPTION

      Mace Blades are the dried covering of the nutmeg.  It has a similar flavor to nutmeg but is milder and sweeter.  Whole Mace Blades are commonly used to flavor soups and stews and are removed before serving. Mace is delicious in cream-based dishes and adds a peppery flavor that works well with cabbage, carrots, cheese, chicken, eggs, seafood, potatoes, veal, and spinach.
