      Galangal also known as: Galanga, Kah, Laos Root and Garingal, is a useful ingredient in various Southeast Asian dishes. The galangals are fascinating ginger-like spices, currently cultivated in all South East Asian countries, India, Bangladesh, China and Surinam. Galangal is frequently used in curries and in fish and shellfish recipes often with garlic, ginger, chili and lemon.
